Caron Levis (MFA, LMSW) is the author of award-winning picture books including Mighty Muddy Us, Feathers Together, and Ida, Always. Others include Stop That Yawn! and Mama's Shoes. Caron is the chair of The New School's Writing for Children/YA MFA program. She offers Creative SEL/Literacy skills workshops for children and adults. Caron was born, raised, and currently lives in NYC.
