Join the Friends of Poughkeepsie Public Library District at their Annual Meeting. There will be a short business meeting followed by guest speaker, author, and New York Times restaurant critic, Bryan Miller. Bryan Miller is a writer, editor, author, internet journalist and educator based in Westchester County, New York. He has worked as a news reporter, feature writer, news editor, writing teacher, and food specialist for a number of newspapers, magazines and online city guides. From 1983 to 2000 he was a reporter for The New York Times, ten of those years as the paper’s restaurant critic. The author and co-author of nine books, Miller has garnered numerous honors, including the prestigious James Beard Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Bryan will be selling and signing his latest book, Dining in the Dark, after the presentation.
