To print or scan your own project, or for assistance please contact makerspace@poklib.org.

You can also visit our drop-in computer lab (see events calendar for dates/times) where you can receive in-person assistance.

For those who have a Google account, you can submit a project to be printed using this form. If you do not have a Google account, you may submit a project using this form.

A member of the Library will get back to you with an estimate for approval prior to printing.

Dremel Digilab 3-D Printer

  • Cost is .10 cents per gram for a project – submit a project on the PPLD Makerspace Project Form and we will provide you with an estimate.
  • Most projects will be completed within one week, depending on our workload and printer availability.
  • Each project can be printed in one color – choose a color when you complete the form.
  • Our plastic material is PLA (Polylactic Acid).
  • Build volume of our Dremel Digilab 3D45 printer (this is our main printer) is: 25.4 cm L x 15.2 cm W x 17.0 cm H (10 in L x 6 in W x 6.7 in H)
  • There is limited availability to use the MakerBot Desktop Replicator which has a build volume of: 25.2 cm L x 29.9 cm W x 15.0 cm H (9.9 in L x 7.8 in W x 5.9 in H).

  • MakerBot Desktop software is used for our projects and is available on our Computer Lab computers or as a free download for your own use.

Sense 3-D Scanner

The Sense is the first USB-powered handheld scanner to use the very latest short-range scanning technology. Fast, easy, portable and practical, the Sense offers full-color 3D scanning for use in a variety of projects. Objects to be scanned must be a minimum of 8″ in height or width to be captured by the scanner.
