Coursera – New Yorkers can Access Nearly 4,000 Online Free Courses and Certificate Programs on Coursera. Courses Focus on High-Growth and In-Demand Industries like Advanced Manufacturing, Tech, and Healthcare. You must sign up for an account which will be emailed to you.
Creativebug – Poughkeepsie Public Library District residents can access online instructional videos that teach you how to paint, knit, sew, crochet, screen print and other creative skills, and is perfect for the beginner as well as advanced crafters! To access, you must create an account using your email, password, and Library Card number. After you have created an account, you may receive periodic updates about new classes from CreativeBug. DigitalLearn.org – If you are new to computers, haven’t used them for a while, Digital Learn has the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed.
GCFLearnFree.org – offers more than 1,000 lessons from Microsoft Office and email, to reading, math, and more. No registration required.
The Great Courses – Poughkeepsie Public Library District residents can access this premium service. Great Courses provides engaging and understandable lectures by esteemed professors, professionals, and experts in topics ranging from history, better living, science, language learning, and more.
