Kristi Mahoney is the author of the picture book Alpacas Make Terrible Librarians, illustrated by Chantelle and Burgen Thorne (Oct 2024, Gnome Road Publishing) as well as its upcoming sequel, Owls Make Terrible Teachers (Spring 2026). She lives outside Boston, Massachusetts, with her family and eight fur-family members. Kristi is represented by Elisa Houot of The Seymour Agency.
