Ira Walzer is an author/illustrator of children’s picture books. His book Mozzarella Cheese, Please! is a silly tale of a bird named Leonard, who prefers to eat cheese rather than worms. Other books include Harold Won’t Fly! and Moe the Telephone Pole. The author and his family reside in Rosendale, New York, where there’s always mozzarella in the fridge.
