Leslie Kimmelman is the author of popular and award-winning books for children, on subjects ranging from a retelling of the Adam and Eve story (or, rather, Eve and Adam), to the running of the New York City marathon. A children's book editor for many years (including almost twenty-five years at Sesame Workshop), she lives in Westchester County.
