Originally from Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Guzman Valverde is a multidisciplinary artist with a career of more than 20 years with national and international exhibitions. Since 1997, he has had 31 solo exhibitions in galleries and public spaces. His work highlights Oaxacan folklore and traditions, and it was chosen as the main image of events such as Centenario de la Noche de Rábanos (radish night century) and the Guelaguetza in 2008.

His exhibition, Colors of my Land, transports us to the landscapes and traditions of Oaxaca. It offers a space for people who have migrated from Oaxaca, who often feel homesick when they are far from their traditions that are part of their identity. The works on display reflect the richness and cultural diversity of the state and its eight regions.

Originario de Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Guzmán Valverde es un artista multidisciplinario con más de 20 años de trayectoria con exposiciones nacionales e internacionales. Desde 1997 ha presentado 31 exposiciones individuales en galerías y espacios públicos. Su obra destaca el folclore y las tradiciones oaxaqueñas; misma que fue seleccionada como la imágen principal de eventos como el Centenario de la Noche de Rábanos y la Guelaguetza en 2008.

Su exposición Colores de mi Tierra, nos transporta a los paisajes y las tradiciones características de Oaxaca. Ofrece un espacio para las personas que han migrado de Oaxaca, quienes suelen sentir nostalgia al estar lejos de sus tradiciones que forman parte de su identidad. Las obras expuestas plasman la riqueza y diversidad cultural del estado y sus ochos regiones.
