Welcome to your neighborhood Mini-Library!

You’re welcome to borrow books and other media from any location and return it anytime, or give it a good forever home!

Q: Can I take books from a Mini-Library?
A: Yes! No library card is required.

Q: When are books due?
A: There are no due dates or late fees.

Q: Can I leave books at a Mini-Library?
A: If you’d like to donate one or two books in gently used condition here for others to enjoy, you are welcome to do so! Larger donations should be brought to the Boardman Road Branch Library (141 Boardman Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).

We currently are not accepting donations that are:

  • Visibly dirty
  • Damaged
  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Textbooks
  • Encyclopedias
  • Religious texts

In addition to books, we welcome donations of media, including:

  • DVDs
  • Blu-ray discs
  • Video games
  • Board games
  • Audiobooks
