Summer Reading Challenge and Programs for Children

Special Summer Events for Children and Families:

Summer Reading Challenge for Children:

Kids up to age 12 are invited to participate in our Summer Reading Challenge! Read, complete the reading log, and earn chances to win one of the grand prizes!

How it works:

Sign up at any library location and receive a reading log to track your child’s progress. For every 15 minutes of reading, your child puts a sticker on or colors in one circle. When they have finished a full sheet (750 minutes), they can come to the library and get one raffle entry and a small prize by playing the Library Plinko game.

The last day to turn in your reading logs is Friday, August 16. The grand prize drawing will take place on Monday, August 19. You do not need to be present to win.
