Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the library. We welcome your involvement in our service to the community. The Library District’s volunteers are an important extension of our staff and perform a wide variety of tasks that are important to the institution. We accept volunteers who are interested in specific tasks which are detailed in the Volunteer Guidelines. Please review them before completing a Volunteer Application.

Short-Term Volunteering:

For teens in need of hours for school service hours, we accept applications for those appointments through December 31 for the academic year ending in June. Applications received after December 31 will not be considered. If you are interested in this kind of appointment, please read the Volunteer Guidelines and then complete the Teen Volunteer Application.

For others seeking short-term volunteer opportunities, please review the Short-Term Volunteer Description and complete the Short-Term Volunteer Application.

Your donations are greatly appreciated! We accept donations to the Library District and the Friends of PPLD Annual Appeal through PayPal (a secure site).
