Providing Home Delivery of Library Materials
Who is eligible?
Residents of the City and Town of Poughkeepsie who, because of immobility, whether temporary or permanent, cannot access the library.
What can be borrowed?
All materials that circulate to the public are available, including:
- Books
- Books on CD
- Periodicals
- CDs
- DVDs
Extension Services staff can provide additional personalized services, such as:
- Readers’ Advisory, where staff provide recommendations based on your interests, placing holds on recommended items, and then delivering them.
- Assistance with accessing the digital resources the library offers online from our e-Library (internet-connected device is required).
