Loan Period: Twenty-one (21) Days (non-renewable)
Available to: Poughkeepsie Public Library District residents, 18 and over, with a PPLD Library Card for at least six months, and with no fines.
Pick Up/Return: In-person at Adriance Memorial Library Checkout Desk. If all Chromebooks are checked out, you may request a hold.
Kit Contains: Chromebook, plug, cord, carrying case with shoulder trap, and two informational cards.
Fines: Return in-person. $20 if returned to Book Drop (plus damages); $5 late fee per day.
Replacement Fees:
- Chromebook: $323.39
- USB Cord or Plug: $10 each
- Carrying case: $20

Chromebooks do not have their own Wi-Fi. The Library District offers free Wi-Fi, or you can inquire about borrowing a separate Mobile Hotspot (7 day loan period).
