Andrea D’Aquino is the author/illustrator of picture books, including A LIFE MADE BY HAND, THE STORY OF RUTH ASAWA, and SHE HEARD THE BIRDS, both published by PaPress/Chronicle. Her next book about composer John Cage (with author Gary Golio) is out later in 2026. Her illustrations are published internationally, and she has received numerous industry awards.
