Kids' Programs & Events
Sign
up for our current program offerings for children! Kids' Programs & Events may include storytimes, book clubs, crafts, and activities for infants through 8th graders. Program registration is required unless otherwise stated. Caregivers accompanying children under 8 years-old to programs are expected to remain in the library during the program.
Reading Buddies @ Your Library
This program is for children in grades 1-5 who would like to practice their reading, and for teens 13 and older who would like to volunteer to act as a reading mentor to a child. Interested children and teens may print a Student Application (.pdf) or Teen Volunteer Application (.pdf) here, or pick up an application in the Children's Room at the Adriance Memorial Library. PLC Programs & Events

The Preschooler Learning Center at the Family Partnership Center will close on May 28.
The PLC will be located in the Adriance Memorial Library once our 93 Market Street location reopens in Fall of 2009, and will have Discovery Stations that feature areas for 3-5 year-old children and their adult caregivers to participate in directed activities. Learn more about the Discovery Stations in our section on the Preschooler Learning Center.
Please note that traditional Pre-school Storytimes for children aged 3-5 will be available during the Summer of 2009 at Adriance and Arlington locations. No registration required.
