Jackie is an award-winning, internationally translated children’s book author with a master’s in Counseling in Education. She has published over a dozen picture books including: The Green Umbrella, The Boy and the Gorilla, Manolo and the Unicorn, and Empanadas for Everyone. Jackie strives to write books that meet children where they are and reflect what children see in their mirrors.
