James Preller lives in Delmar, New York. He is the author of many books for young readers, including the Jigsaw Jones, Scary Tales, and Big Idea Gang series. His most recent books are Blood Mountain (Grades 4-7), Scary Tales: 3 Spooky Stories in 1 (Grades 3-6), Shaken (Grades 4-7), and Two Birds and a Moose (PreK-K).
