The Poughkeepsie Public Library District Bookmobile delivers and promotes library services to neighborhoods and locations that have limited access to the main library or branch library due to geographic, transportation, economic, or other barriers.

Built and upfitted in USA. Built in South Carolina and upfitted to become a bookmobile by Farber Specialty Vehicles in Columbus, OH.
Turbodiesel Engine for Superior Fuel Efficiency
Equipped with book shelves for browsing that hold 1,700 books plus an additional five 2-sided book trucks that can be rolled on and off.
Commercial lift for patron accessibility who cannot use the steps and for book trucks.
CD/Radio player, interior and exterior speakers for programming.
