With the First Year Draft right around the corner, and summer unofficially begun, many among us start feeling the urge to watch our national sport–on the tube, or live at the stadium, with the aroma of hotdogs and beer permeating the air.  Today marks the anniversary of the publication of the famous poem “Casey at the Bat”, by Ernest Thayer, on of the most well-known baseball poems ever penned.
