A new documentary from award-winning filmmaker Aviva Kempner. Influenced by the writings of the educator Booker T. Washington, philanthropist Julius Rosenwald joined forces with African American communities in the Jim Crow South to build schools, housing, and funding for artists and intellectuals to address racial inequality through philanthropy.
