On the evening of Wednesday, October 16, you can stroll across the Walkway Over the Hudson together with astronomer and author Bob Berman. Bob will offer a lecture on the autumn sky and participants can then view the stars and moon through telescopes provided by the Mid-Hudson Astronomy Club. The program, which runs from 7 pm to 10 pm, is part of SkyFest: Astronomy and the Arts, in which the Library District is partnering with the Bardavon. This series of public events is designed to highlight the arts and to promote and support cultural tourism in our region. Tickets are $5.00. (Free to Walkway Members) They can be purchased ahead of time at the Bardavon, or that evening at the Walkway. Both Highland and Poughkeepsie access to the Walkway will be open to the public.
