Mystery Mondays: Hosted by the Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District on the last Monday of each month, the discussions will be at the Arlington Branch Library, 504 Haight Avenue, Poughkeepsie from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The discussions are free and led by Elayne Weinstein and Suzanne Christensen.

June 24: False Prophet by Faye Kellerman

The daughter of a screen star claims to have been beaten and raped. LAPD Detective Peter Decker and his team investigate, and encounter a disabled stable hand, secretive colleagues at the spa that the victim owns, a manipulative mother, three malicious stepbrothers, and valuable stolen memoirs. Added to this are Peter’s attempts to adapt to orthodox Jewish life and cope with his pregnant wife’s problems.
