Online Catalog: The Library’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) allows patrons to search for all materials available from the Poughkeepsie Public Library District and also from the collections of the entire Mid-Hudson Library System, including books, large print, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, books on CD,  eBooks, audiobooks (MP3 and WAV)- and more! Patrons can also view their library account, renew items, and place or cancel their material requests.

Our new Encore catalog also includes articles from thousands of sources that are indexed in several of our subscription databases. Currently we include the content of Gale’s General OneFile and Academic OneFile databases and Opposing Viewpoints in Context–with more on the way.  All these articles are keyword searchable from right within our online catalog; all you need is a current library card.  It’s all free!
